Description

Blacktail Mountain Ski Resort

Regardless of whether you are an expert or novice, everyone starts at the top on Blacktail Mountain. Overlooking Flathead Lake, with Glacier Park as a backdrop, the views on Blacktail are magnificent.

North facing slopes are protected from prevailing winds and direct southernly sun, keeping snow light and dry. Blacktail seldom experiences any fog, resulting in impeccable visibility. Runs flow directly down the fall line, utilizing natural topography. Independence Park features a variety of jumps, rails and boxes. Gladed tree skiing is accessible from the Thunderhead Lift.

A beautiful three-story lodge sits atop Blacktail Mountain. This full-service lodge is home to the ticket office, rental shop, Snow Sports School, retail store, cafeteria and Muley’s full service restaurant and bar.  Parking is available just outside the lodge.

Red Lodge Mountain

Nestled within the Beartooth Mountains, Red Lodge Mountain delivers big mountain fun without the big crowds or big prices.  We prize great skiing and great people over glitz and glamour, and nowhere is that more evident than in our diverse mix of terrain and friendly staff. But most of all we believe that on a powder day you should be free to seek out your own secret stash.  Because you shouldn’t have to settle for first tracks when you can enjoy first, second, and third tracks. Red Lodge Mountain is Montana skiing, pure and simple.

Showdown Montana

Welcome to Montana’s oldest ski area! Located in the heart of the Little Belt Mountains along Scenic Highway 89, you will find Showdown Montana. The secret to this place, in addition to great skiing and snowboarding, comes from the friendly folks who work, live and visit here. The mountain has three chairlifts and one beginner conveyor belt and 35 runs ranging from beginner level to expert. Showdown has been open since 1936, offering a family-friendly atmosphere and amazing all-natural snow.

Sleeping Giant Ski Area

The Sleeping Giant Ski Area is located just outside Yellowstone National Park, 49 miles west of Cody, Wyoming. Sleeping Giant's base is on the banks of the Shoshone River in the Absaroka Mountain Range and offers 184 acres of skier and rider accessible terrain and a 6,619-foot vertical drop. Serviced by three chair lifts, the resort features 49 runs and two terrain parks and averages 150 inches of snowfall.

White Pine Ski Resort

White Pine (originally named Surveyor Park Ski Area) opened to skiers on January 5, 1940.  Currently, White Pine Ski Area has 25 runs for downhill skiing and snowboarding and is adjacent to 35K of looping Nordic ski trails for all skill levels.  Two lifts service groomed downhill runs and the terrain park offers jumps and slides. Fortification Mountain rises to an elevation of 9,500 feet and offers spectacular views of the Continental Divide, Wind River Mountains, the Bridger-Teton National Forest, Fremont Lake, as well as the nearby Wyoming Mountain Range.

Year-round recreation at White Pine includes downhill & Nordic skiing, snowboarding, horseback adventures, downhill mountain biking, cross country mountain biking, scenic chairlift rides, hiking, camping and fishing. We have an assortment of facilities for rental including cabin accommodations, a tent village with fresh water bathrooms and showers, fully staffed lodge, meeting rooms, bar, and grill.

Whitefish Mountain Resort

In the '30s local skiers discovered good skiing on the "big mountain" north of town. Since then we've been committed to a life of good times, great people and deep snow. Rising above the town of Whitefish, in beautiful northwest Montana, in the backyard of Glacier National Park (only 35 miles away), the resort charms its guests with a friendly, fun-loving vibe, variety of terrain, and virtually no lift lines at an unbeatable value. Whitefish is the quintessential skier's mountain averaging more than 300 inches of snow annually on 3,000 acres of bowls, chutes, and glades on all aspects. In Whitefish, you'll find a community true to itself and a deep-rooted lifestyle where character is encouraged.
